Jagat Prakash Nadda, popularly known as JP Nadda, is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is currently serving as the National President of the BJP, having been elected to the position in January 2020.
Born on December 2, 1960, in Patna, Bihar, Nadda completed his early education in St. Xavier’s School, Patna. He then went on to complete his graduation in Political Science from Patna University, followed by a post-graduate degree in the same subject from Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla.

Nadda started his political career as a student leader in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad , the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
