Read a beautiful story:
Once a 22 year old man, Kelvin was travelling in a train with his mother and father. A few other people were also in the same compartment. A lady was sitting opposite to that man and was looking at his actions. The 22 year old was looking at everything anxiously and was acting as if he has a mind disorder. He was looking at many things with curiosity and was sharing the same with his father and mother excitedly.
He saw some cows passing by through the window of the train and got very much excited to see all of them. His father too was happy looking at his son. Then the man saw a few fields and trees joyfully. He then told his father, “Look dad, the trees are running behind us! So interesting to look at them!” Looking at all his actions the lady sitting opposite to him was surprised seeing a 22 year old behaving so childish and she couldn’t bear his stupid innocence anymore. She then asked his parents, “Why don’t you take your son to a good hospital and get him treated. He doesn’t look normal and I think you are not taking this issue seriously at all. I advise you to get him treated as soon as possible.” Then the father smiled and said “We just did that! We are returning from the hospital now.” Then the lady curiously asked him what the doctor told them about kelvin’s health condition. Then kelvin’s father replied that he was blind from birth and they got his eye surgery done the previous day.
Hearing this, the lady got embarrassed and apologized kelvin’s parents immediately for talking nonsense before knowing the truth. She then got to know her mistake and she made sure that she never makes wrong conclusions of other’s lives without knowing the actual truth. That embarrassment she faced in front of kelvin’s parents made her realize what life is. This story is really motivating to fill in positive thoughts in ourselves without any counter judgements of other’s lives.
Moral of the story: Each and everyone in the world has their own story and every story is unique in its own way. Not only in this story, even in the real life, everyone will have their own story. Everyone will have their own problems. You cannot even judge the circumstances of the problem. Unknowingly we become judgmental sometimes and hurt others with our words. And that is a very wrong thing. We should try to avoid doing such kind of simple mistakes in our life. Because we don’t have any right to talk something wrong about other. We never know what the other person’s life is. You should never judge someone just by looking at them. So finally, always remember, “Do not judge a book by its cover.” Hope this motivational story motivates you to think and know before you speak with anyone. So be careful before you talk to someone.
