Step 1: Complete your 10+2 education

The first step towards becoming an MBBS doctor in India is to complete your 10+2 education in science stream. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects and secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.

Step 2: Appear for the NEET-UG exam

NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is mandatory for all medical aspirants to appear for NEET-UG to be eligible for admission to undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS. The exam is usually conducted in May every year, and the application process begins in December.
