A Sudanese model Nyakim Gatwech, has become an international sensation today in spite of her sheer black skin. She was bullied and harassed for her skin color for years when she grew up but, this girl is an ideal. She never stopped loving herself and never let her self- confidence go away or doom herself.
Well, talking of her complexion, she is so dark that people loath and criticize her. People who are ignorant about others aren’t ashamed of criticizing them, even about someone’s skin color and body shape. Nyakim Gatwech was 24 years old when she first made her headlines after she revealed that an Uber driver had offered her $10,000 to bleach her skin, emphasizing that her complexion was something to be ashamed of. While most of us would be enraged and hurt at this, Gatwech just laughed the comment off.

All over the world, we would find numerous black people, but in certain places, such as India, tanned or black skin is loathed due to prejudices and biases. That’s why her, positive attitude for her complexion is extremely empowering and inspiring. She doesn’t care what haters say.
She is a role model, because we need to learn from her how to be confident about her skin or body type. We should be contended with what we have been blessed with and should not be sad or demotivated by getting indulged in the societal prejudices.
